okay, Smackdown thoughts
Aside from a fantastic Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry cage main event, the show was a rather bad one. Not everything in wrestling has to be one hundred percent serious all the time (it’s an art form that can be created in numerous ways), but it had an Impact-level stupidity to its comedy. Randy Orton throwing someone into five Christmas trees would be hilarious were the promotion Osaka Pro,...

I keep getting these PC games but don’t want to play them till I get a proper desktop machine.
And I have enough money to keep getting stupid luxuries like that. That’s not bragging, and it’s not disappointment. I’m not sure what it is. I feel bad about being secure.
thoughts to come. enjoyed the show, overall. still, ignorance is bliss and i don’t have either.
Wear something cool when it’s hot out, and warm when it’s cold out. Hate The Beatles if you hate them, but don’t do it because they’re “overrated”. What should you care how others rate them?
I still don’t understand how others can dismiss the art that so deeply touched me, and I’ll still rant about its brilliance and their misunderstanding, but...
You know I’m turning into (more of) an esoteric nerd when I’m up reading about Carl Barks.
At the last possible minute I realize I should probably go see Daniel Bryan potentially win the WWE World Championship tomorrow night.
LIVE ON SYFY
Whatever, yeah, I’m going. First time I’ll see Foley live. I’ll get a cheap seat and a t-shirt for monetary support.
Perhaps as you went along you did learn something. I did not care what it was...

For the record, I thought Transformers: War for Cybertron’s end boss was a ridiculous step up in difficulty (to the point that I question what was running through the designer’s heads), but it’s still a pretty good game I enjoyed. No need to get angry and say “I HATE IT PIECE OF SHIT WORST IN THE WORLD WORST EVER THERE COULD NOT BE ANYTHING MORE AWFUL THAN THIS”
No,...
As much as I love to get emotionally invested in art and my criticism of it, it’s probably not healthy to have heavy swings every other minute. At a certain point it sounds less like the art’s fault, but the critic’s personal life getting in the way.
What I’m saying is that you don’t have to dismiss Lost in Translation because Bob cheats on his wife. You...
Just realized/found out Kana uses a song from Okami as her entrance theme.
my GOD, woman
What I say I mean, and what I mean I say.
Work tomorrow at noon is fine, but driving for significant periods of time (3+ hours, today’s 4 right after Tuesday’s 4) just wears me out. I want to relax and rest and catch up.
This is my worthless whining, but if this is similar to the life of the daily, low-level worker, I’ll definitely keep aspiring and fighting for more.
Authors sleep in as long as the work’s on...
compiling my thoughts
We’re cynical because we’re hurt. Something betrayed us. Well, in this case nothing betrayed me, but it changed and I don’t like it. Change is hard and the stages of grief can be overwhelming. Make a false move and you can get stuck.
One of the most significant influences on my upbringing happened on May 16th, 1990, just shy a year of my birth. I guess I didn’t know...
I think I may have just had my most poignant childhood culmination.
I wonder why I did the things I did. Half-good and half-bad, but why was it half-bad? It would be easy to place blame on external forces, but perhaps there’s something wrong with me. I don’t see it all that often. I’m sitting in my bedroom at my parents’ house, petting one of the cats, perusing today’s news, making no harm to anyone. Nothing in my heart desires...
Told you so.
Before I die, I’m gonna fuck me a fish.
