Alright, well first of all holy POOP @ Ubisoft putting out an E3 press conference that had both incredible, awesome relevance and hilarious, awkward detachment in equal measure. Usually they’ve been solely focused on the latter.
Anyway, Ubisoft is a French company and their primary developers are located in Europe, so they have a pretty skewed vision of America. It isn’t so much a snooty attitude about how better they are as much as it is a…misrepresentation? It’s why the press conference has that shitty “jokez” guy and it started out with Flo Rida and then warrior boobs. The further east in Europe you get, the more they pander towards Americans rather than make fun of them. Like a Czechoslovakian rap group who just got a hold of N.W.A. records and just assumes everyone in North America is constantly screaming “YAH WEE GOUN DO DIS BITCH RAIGHT MUTHA FUCKAS!” That or they assume everyone is John Wayne. So everyone shifts in their seats uncomfortably.
Also…what more do you have to look forward to, exactly???
